Day 10 – A song which makes you fall asleep – Explosions In The Sky – ‘Your Hand In Mine’

I’ve spoken before about my love of Explosions In The Sky. Their wordless modern symphonies are a rollercoaster of emotion, but they’re not for everyone. No instant gratification here, their work requires patience and repeated listening to appreciate.

This doesn’t really make me go to sleep – nor should it – but it is a very relaxing and beautiful piece of music that is perhaps best experienced lying in a darkened room, focus fully attuned to the sound.
